Earlier, clay litter boxes for cats used to be the most popular, but in vogue now are automated litter boxes. Both master and pet benefit from this arrangement because keeping an automated litter box clean is easier and it isn’t damaged even through frequent use.
Not calling all cats
- While humans can and do share toilets, it is not a good idea for more than one cat to use a single litter box.
- The main reason for that is the cat gets used to the liter box and knows exactly where to go if it wants a pee.
- Also, with the one-cat-one-litter box policy, you can very easily keep the box clean and keep track of how many times and at what times your cat is using it.
So the idea is to get at least seven litter boxes for six cats, for instance, keeping a stand-by if a problem arises. Each cat, after a couple of days, will know its specific litter box and stick to its litter box routine. For you, cleaning and maintenance become a breeze, and you also monitor your cats' health with no trouble at all!
